Elemental Coatings (formerly known as SurfEllent, LLC) was founded in 2018. Our original technology, which was invented in the laboratory of our Chief Technology Officer, Prof. Hadi Ghasemi, is exclusively licensed from the University of Houston. The technology demonstrates world-class performance when it comes to preventing ice and scale buildup on a variety of surfaces.

We have a number of different formulations of our product, utilizing different chemistries for different applications. We've worked with many large corporate partners and small businesses to develop custom formulations that solve specific issues.
